Q for Scottish teachers re pay

Do any teachers in Scotland know when we are likely to receive our 'back pay'? Is it with April pay? And has anyone worked out how much they'll get? I work 0.8 FTE, top of scale for class teacher and just trying to work it out. Thanks 😊

Different authorities are paying in different months. Edinburgh is paying in April but there are a couple not paying until May! This is causing some concern as tax changes in April mean that those being paid in April will get less than those who have been paid in March. Angry

And I received mine last week, pushed through by our Payroll to avoid excess taxation. It's going to be a nightmare for many. Sorry that didn't help - so unfair Angry

We got ours last week, delighted as then we didn't have to deal with the tax issues.

PS I can't tell you how much extra net as ours was all messed up with a deduction for 2 x strike days and then I also have a lease car and childcare vouchers and back pension etc.

That's great some have gone through already...I'm hoping i won't be affected by new tax rate, isn't it if you're earning over 42000?

We're getting ours in our April pay and we've all had an email telling us that the new tax rules will apply. Pay roll couldn't get it sorted for the March pay run as it was 'too big a job'.
