Restaurant recommendations for St Andrews

Can anyone recommend a child friendly restaurant in St Andrews for a special occasion. Have tried both Haar and Seafood Ristorante but can’t get the availability.

We had a family celebration at Forgans and took one of the private side rooms, which worked really well. The food is good gastro-pub style..

The Grange Inn is lovely.

I know it's not actually in st Andrews, but the Guardbridge Inn could work?

The restaurant in the Rusacks Hotel is supposed to be great and there is also a good restaurant in the Old Course. The Adamson might be safe bet. The Grange, as a PP mentioned, is nice. The restaurant in the Kinettles hotel also might work.
