Christmas experience gift for a 4 year old.

Can anyone suggest or recommend an activity gift for my 4 year old GS? It doesn't necessarily have to be at Christmas, in the new year would work too. But we're trying to find an alternative to just toys for his Christmas gift and his DP's are in agreement that tickets to something would be ideal.

My parents bought us a family ticket for Edinburgh Zoo last Christmas. It can also be used for the Highland Wildlife Park in Aviemore. Both are fab.
Also spotted yesterday that Disney on Ice in in Glasgow next March.

Where are they based? We've received Glasgow gift cards previously which we've put towards annual tickets to Glasgow science centre... then we use it all year long! So if there is a good attraction nearby then annual tickets may be worth thinking about.
