Dentists west Glasgow

Hello, I'm looking for recommendations for NHS dentists in the west of Glasgow. Currently still attend my dentist in Edinburgh but since having a baby it's awkward to travel through plus I want to register DD locally when she's old enough to go. Don't know anyone else living locally to ask for recommendations. Thanks in advance.

I think your first job is finding one taking on NHS! Lots aren't.

We phoned round loads and have just registered with 'West End Smiles' on Dumbarton Road. I'm not sure if they are any good but there are so few taking on NHS patients local to us

Ive both NHS and private dentists and just moved my NHS one to Springburn Dental Care who seem decent.

I know it’s not quite west Glasgow but it’s not far off the M8 and is decent for parking at the local shopping centre

@FamilyTreeBuilder true! That's why I've stayed with my Edinburgh dentist so long. I've been lucky that I can plan my check ups for days off but now with a baby I worry that if I had an emergency it would be a nightmare to coordinate with work and childcare

@dippyduck1 thanks, will check them out!

@BlueThursday thanks! I'd probably not go there just because I live in the west and work in the south so rarely over springburn way, but you have prompted me to think about dentists nearer my work in the southside, so thank you!
