Hey, are you searching for an in-person tutor in particular?

caringcarer · 12/09/2022 07:04

Try Tutor Hunt for online lessons.

I think in person would be better, I think part of the problem is not having got stuff that was on line over lockdown

It's your choice. I've seen working parents prefer online lessons since it's safer. But I understand the appeal of face-to-face contact, especially for younger kids.
Some platforms I used to hire tutors to have both online and offline options. I don't want to link other websites I have not used, but you are free to find them too.
www.gostudent.org/us and edumentors.co.uk/ were the ones I've used.

You’re up early! That’s the problem I was having, there are millions of websites & I have no frame of reference for where is a safe reliable place to look.I wouldn’t be expecting to leave them tbh, I’d fully expect to be in the room.
there’s a real issue with focus with zoom lessons and I’m not sure things really go in from eg Sumdog and things.

My cousin is up in Glasgow now and uses Tayberry - they can do both online and in person. She started with online, then switched to their in person option when she moved back from living abroad, but she's now switched back again to online as her son prefers it.

Yeah, my sleep schedule is ruined haha!
Maybe you can find groups on facebook or reddit where people who live in Glasgow are and ask there.
Best of luck!
