Good news for anyone claiming the usual suspects of benefits. From November the payment will be available for children aged 6-16 which will be nice for anyone feeling the pinch.

Thank goodness for that. There was from the start supposed to be an (ever shifting goalpost) inclusion for severely disabled children which has been incredibly frustrating (and a bit bloody upsetting tbh). This catch all will do.

Good. Seemed daft to stop it at age 6 anyway as if kids suddenly cost less at 6 years old than at 5.
