What is the situation at Edinburgh airport re queueing just now?

Does anyone have recent experience at Edinburgh airport? I am wondering how long the queues are? Planning to arrive 3.5 hours early - will that be enough?

Was there two weeks ago and through security in about 6 minutes. Had checked in online and mobile boarding passes though and was short haul so only cabin luggage. Not aware of any significant delays recently

Might be trickier if you have checked bags and a budget airline drop off?

Was there during first week of school holidays. It was absolutely fine. Arrived just over 2 hours before flight and was sat down airside in 29 minutes, and that included a bag drop. Queues move quickly. Make sure you take your liquids out and don't stack things on top of electrical in your trays so they go through the scanner ok.

Went through last week, no problems at all.

3.5 hours is probably too early. some airlines don't open bag drop until 2/2.5hours before your flight and they were asking people not to arrive too early as that was making the queues even worse by people being there before they needed to be.

Been through today. Was absolutely fine although the family lane was busy and A LOT of people hadn't separated their liquids/electricals properly so the bag scanner was backed up.

3.5 hours is WAY TOO long. There is not much airside and they've changed some of the shops. Wetherspoons was busy. Burger King was very quick from order to "delivery".

Not sure if they still have the kids climbing frame as we were not near those Gates.

Head to Gate 6. Usually seating there.
