Running in the Highlands

Hello Bonnie Scotnetters,

We are off to Newtonmore for a week tomorrow and I've been looking at routes for running in the area.

I will of course explore the wildcat trail but I would also like to know whether there are any safe routes for doing flat road running or better, and I know this is a long shot, whether there is a running track nearby?

Thank you in advance.

Maybe some of the low level walks on here might be suitable?

Might there be some sort of track up at the High School in Kingussie?

Thank you @BinBandit. I shall study the routes a bit closer and investigate whether there is public access to a track at the school.
