Appreciate it’s a big employer, lol, but if you work there would you recommend it? I have an interview for a non clinical role next week - just idly wondered if any MNetters have a view..

I have a few friends who work in NHS Tayside. 3 as Health care workers, 2 as midwifes and a few as domestics or office staff. They all seem to really enjoy their work and have been trying to convince me to make the jump from private social care to the NHS. I think as far as employers go it's the same everywhere some good and some bad

I've had plenty of family members work there, and I did too for 3-4 years. It was fine, just your standard public sector employer really.

I have worked their in a non clinical role, and enjoyed it, lots of opportunities for progression. My friends that work there enjoy it too, and all have progressed into different roles and have some flexibility in working hours etc
