Ideally we want to be in catchment for St Conval's or St Fillan's in the south side, but I cannot for the life of me work the map thing on the website.

It’s not the easiest tool to use, but you can either: select ‘RC primary catchments’ in the layer list to see the full catchment area, which is drawn round in bright pink, or you can add a specific address and select just ‘RC primary school’ to see what your local one would be.

why st convals out of interest? It’s our catchment school and we are currently considering it. I don’t think you’d have issues getting a place in any event as it’s not oversubscribed, regardless of where you lived.

It's not easy to use- I spent a while until I worked out that Gaelic schools and secondary catchments are automatically highlighted. Turning them off makes things much clearer.

We're practising Catholics and we have had family experience of St Conval's, St Fillan's and OLA with children and teachers, so happy for either of those three really.
