Schools on holiday, why does it always rain

I'm struggling to remember a summer when we've not had significant rainfall in July and/or August. Maybe this will be the one? There's still hope!

West coast seems to be getting more rain than in the east at the moment. Maybe a few day trips over to fife and the beautiful beaches?

Has its upside though, never seem to have the water shortages they have down south

Yip, and we moved from Aberdeen (the driest city?) further west. I've just seen the weather for next week

Just had a heavy shower in the East Neuk so I wouldn't bank on it!

Although the schools aren't off here until Thursday anyway.

Wait till they go back, September is usually lovely

We're going abroad on the 9th so I predict it'll be glorious from then until we land back home again on 23rd. 😜
