Lower Largo nudist beach

Has anyone been or know anyone who has been? It's only recently made it some official list so perhaps not. I was wondering what it was like, as in is it well signposted (crucial). I'd hate to wander naked into the wrong part.

Goodness, that sounds bravely stoic. The weather in Fife is rarely warm enough for me to remove my duffel coat!

🤣 Yes, I did think a thermos would be a requirement. I've never braved the loony dook but that's another thing on my 'to do' list. I don't feel the cold too bad thankfully.

This came up on Google. Never knew was a nudist beach at Largo we used to go as kids when staying with my Gran and the North Sea is quite bracing!

Sounds like the nudist group in Alexander Mc Call Smith's books, in Edinburgh, where it's always so cold they have to wear coats.

Apparently (a friend was telling me last week) it’s hit the news because lower largo was awarded bathing water status but I’m told (honest!) that the nudist beach isn’t in the designated bathing water area. I think it’s to the east along the Fife coastal path from how he was telling me about it.
