Has anyone been following this?

Regardless of what comes out of it, I really feel for his family.

It's a horrible case, the police are supposed to protect us.

They had multiple reports of someone armed with a knife. They were protecting the public.

I think the bigger issue is going to be was there a cover up in the investigation?

Sheku Bayoh was the public, he deserved protection too.

We heard yesterday how there’s at least three calls per day into the Police Scotland control room re people with knives. How many of those situations do we know have ended with a suspect dead? One.

There will a lot more that comes out about this man’s death, his family and friends deserve some form of justice not just for his death but what happened afterwards too.

How many of them are on drugs that place extra strain in the heart?

I'm not saying that there wasn't issues with the whole investigation, but don't necessarily believe (based on what's been heard up to this point, only) the response was disproportionate- especially as I know the location is very close to a psychiatric unit
