Planning on coming to Glasgow shopping next week, not been in since 2017!!

Can someone suggest where to park then a route, I don't even know what's there anymore after bloody brexit and the bloody pandemic.

I would like to go to COS, & Other Stories, JL, HoF (if still there), White Company, Massimo Dutti, Jigsaw and I suppose Zara and Mango, as well as Cruise. And can anyone suggest any nice independent boutiques in the centre, I like Ganni, Isabel Marant, and similar, also any good trainer shop recomendations would be welcome.

TIA

I’d just park at Buchanan Galleries, then you’re handy for everywhere in the centre.

Second parking at the galleries, start there at John Lewis and work your way down Buchanan street to st Enoch. I live 30 mins from Glasgow and haven’t been for months I just can’t be bothered but I do enjoy a wander round when I go. Enjoy your trip op

Depending where you are driving from might be best to park at a subway park & ride and get the subway. I have parked at Shields Rd before.

I always park at the Buchanan Galleries too. All the shops are easily accessible from there.

We did this - really simple to get to

If you park for the day at Buchanan galleries you will pay about £13. So I’d do park and ride at a train or subway station. Then you can have a lovely lunch with a glass of wine 🙂

Can't have a glass of wine if she's driving home!!

Really? You can’t have a glass of wine with lunch at say 1pm and drive home at 7pm?

A 125ml glass of wine is 2.3 units so one consumed by 1.30pm will be processed by 4 - 4:30pm. So even with very large margin of error she will be perfectly legal and safe to drive by the time the shops close on a Saturday night and then she goes on a train or subway trip, which will be about 7pm.

Unfortunately there’s no & Other Stories in Glasgow (only one in Scotland is in Edin). There’s no longer a Jigsaw either, though there’s a few things in John Lewis. Cruise might sell Marant and Ganni. HofF still there and has a small designer section e.g Anine Bing.
I’d go John Lewis, down Buchanan St, could veer off to Ingram St, then Princes Square then HofF.

Oh and Mango is in Buchanan Galleries.
Have fun!
