Local transport in Livingston

Hi, I am wondering if someone who knows the Livingston area can help.
My daughter has a summer internship at Ossur, Livingston EH54 7EG and we are weighing up her travel options.
Due to personal circumstances she will be travelling on a daily basis rather than living in the area.
We live in North East Fife and she is happy to drive through every day but I would like to consider public transport.
The closest train station is a 45min walk and a local bus to link the two still involves a 39min walk.
I am clutching at straws now and hoping someone might have any local suggestions for a hopper bus or walking shortcut etc.
Many thanks.

Livingston is built for the car, The housing estates are served by buses but it's not great because everything connects through the bus station.

That's on kirkton business campus and there are buses that go there but she'd need to connect through the bus station at Livingston centre, which is a long way from both railway stations. Will take her ages by public transport.

Worth contacting Ossur to see if they have a shuttle from the station but otherwise I think she'll have to drive.

Thank you CuddlyCactus that's what I suspected. Just seems so crazy that for a New Town public transport links are so poor...
