Considering move to Dunfermline

Hi all,

We are considering moving to Dunfermline but we wan't to avoid houses built in the last 10 years due to fleecehold (estate charges).

We are considering a newish house (20 years) in the north west part of the town, Baldridgeburn. On the deprivation website we see that this area is ok but the areas south of it seem to be not so great. The little one would go to Milesmark primary and Queen Anne's secondary.

What is your opinion on the area, should we avoid it?

The Castings or Goulden Place are fine to live in. Decent family homes.

Would you consider Crossford?

I would consider Crossford as well but didn't see any houses available there recently.

I see that the Castings and Goulden Place are quite close to the location we are looking at. We are viewing the house next to Bull park
