Hot tub holiday

Hello! Looking to travel to west coast Scotland in June and would like to stay in a cabin/lodge/similar vibe with a hot tub but looking online seems like the prices are crazy (around £800-1000) for the weekend.

Hoping some locals may have some links to hidden gems that won’t break the bank? Just myself, DH and 2 year old.

How about this place? campkintyre.com
Staying there myself next month so hoping the hot tub accommodation is as nice as it looks.

Thank you for the recommendation! I had a look for the weekend we need and it’s coming in at £1500 which is just too much for us Sad

www.hoseasons.co.uk/lodges/westlands-country-park-wecp?start=25-6-2022&range=3&nights=3&adult=2&chil

Westlands near Annan is coming up at £559 for three nights in late June, I don't imagine it will be any more expensive than that elsewhere in the month? Although they do clay pigeon shoots there so you have to factor in that. It didn't bother us but it may put others off.

Scottish schools break up 29/6 so that's why your prices will be higher (I think a lot will finish up the previous Friday). Depends on what dates really. Have a look at hiddenscotland.co/listings/taigh-nan-con/ or saltlodgehotel.com/ but no hot tub :(

This looks great and definitely more in our price range. Thank you so much for the share Smile

Ouch, that is a bit pricey - must be the school holiday effect as all the dates I looked at were £400-600 for the weekend.

No worries, just warning you about the bangs what with you having a little one. We were staying in the touring area which is fairly close to the firing tower, but the lodges are further away, so I imagine it wouldn't be so loud.

What about Hunters Quay in Dunoon?

Quite a big holiday park but nice, decent restaurant, plenty activities if you have kids and indoor pool. We've stayed there several times.

Thank you - I missed this one on my search so I’ll have a look here too Smile

The lodges at Carry Farm on the beautiful Cowal peninsula (45 minutes from Dunoon) don't have hot tubs, but there's a lovely spa with an outdoor swimming pool at nearby Portavadie. I'm sorry I don't know the rates though.
