Vitamin D

I've not been looking after myself as well as normal this year, but have given myself a talking to, and have a list of habits to get back into. I also think I should be taking vitamin D, but am getting confused about what amount to be taking. Does anyone have advice they can share?

10ug (micrograms) is standard dose unless you are deficient already

I take 62.5ug / 2500IU when I remember. Most people in Scotland are deficient.

Yeah, the standard 10ug isn't enough for Scotland. I tend to take 25ug daily, but you can also buy 50 and 75 over the counter and I do wonder if I should be taking a higher dose.

Thank you all for your responses. I've bought some 25ug, and see how I go with that.

Up to 100ug is ok (4000IU)
Think the ones I have are 25ug
