Labour ward at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary

Can anyone describe to me what the labour ward is like at ERI?

Last time I just went to the birth centre before being rushed for an emergency c-section. Just wondering if you have to labour in a room with other people until active labour? Or if they have pools? Or what it is like?

Been twice.
Had a room to myself straightaway
Had a pool the first time but not all rooms have them
Very good experience both times
