Nursery Application in NL

Hi everyone. Im in the process of applying for a council nursery for my DS.

When I applied for DD school it was a placing request and one of the main reasons for the request was for DS to attend nursery nearby to the school, so convenient for childcare etc & so we could increase chances of getting placing request accepted.

However the nursery near to DD school doesn't offer the hours we require so we want to miss it out altogether if we can. However I don't want DD placing request to fall through.

Does anyone know if NLC nursery and schooling applications communicate with each other? Or are they dealt with individually?

Will NLC check if we didnt apply for the nursery?

Many thanks

Don't think nursery places have anything to do with school places. Is the placing request being done at the same time as the nursery application?

No its being done separately. The placing request for school was done back in January.
Nursery application im just beginning to complete now.
