Proof of vaccination

I'm going to an event where I'll need to show proof of vaccination.
I have the app but I've printed out a paper copy from nhs inform as backup in case phone battery crashes.
But when I hover over the QR code with my phone it says there's no readable data🤷🏼‍♀️

Anyone else had this?

have you tried switching to the foreign travel option to see what's listed, and given it a minute to "fire up"?

When did you get it? I'm sure the qr code expires after a certain amount of time so you need to request a new paper copy. It's fine on the app as it refreshes each time you open it.

I only printed it off yesterday.
I'm wondering whether the printed QR code is not designed to be read by a phone?
The paper copy also has my last 2 vaccines listed so at least that's one thing.
Has anyone had to use the paper copy? Do they have to scan QR code or just look at number of vaccines had?

You can't scan the code using a phone qr code reader. Staff in venues who have to check have a special app on their devices to scan it. www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-certification-scheme-businesses-event-organisers/pages/status-checks/

Thank you @botanics
I had a feeling that might be the case.
So I'm all good to go now
