Edinburgh Spa/Gym membership

Was thinking of getting DD2 Onespa membership for a milestone birthday. We had a spa day there and it was fantastic. Can’t see any costs on the website and I will call and ask.

I’m not an Edinburgher - any of you wise Scotsnetters got inside info or other recommendations?

I have no experience of them but i wouldn't join simply because not publishing your prices is just dickish, so even if I could afford it (it's probably one of those things where if you need to ask the price you can't afford it) I wouldn't give them my money.

I'd join a more regular gym and if you must give them your money, save it for treat spa days.

That's just me though, I'm a thrawn cow Grin

I'm inclined to agree with you @ElephantOfRisk some gyms are notorious for changing prices and I'm always suspicious of those that don't advertise them (David Lloyd I'm looking at you too!). You can get screwed by being a loyal customer when new members are being offered cheaper rates. Realistically how often is she going to make full use of the spa facilities? She might be better with a swim/gym membership somewhere else. i think a gym needs to be close to home or work for you to get any real use out of it.
