Anyone sold property through Corum?

Looking for your experience if you have sold (or bought!) through Corum estate agents please 😊 would you recommend?

Ready to put our first property on the market and we’re torn between two agents.

Yes, we have had experience of doing both. Not positive. A few years ago now, but found them not to be very proactive, kind of expected the property to sell itself, encouraged price reduction very early on in the process in spite of comparable properties with other agents selling well over valuation, just seemed like they couldn’t really be bothered. As a direct result both our sale and onward purchase with them both fell through and we pulled out completely, sold a couple of years later with a different agent within 24 hours.

We sold with Rettie that time which was a better experience overall, though issues with due diligence and our supposed ‘cash buyer’ turning out not to be one at all really late in the day.

Vanilla Square were excellent a few years ago selling a smaller property.

Thank you 😊 we’re on the west coast and had valuations from Corum and another agent but couldn’t decide who to list with. DH loved Corum but they felt a bit flashy to me - kept talking sky high numbers which I think is pulling DH in. I’ve read some other reviews similar to yours so we’ll be listing with the other agent 👍🏻
