Gifts in Glasgow

Hello all,

My sister lives in Glasgow and has done us a huge favour recently. We want to show her how much we appreciate it.

She's a big champion of local businesses and loves good food and wine. We want to get her a gift card or something from a nice shop and she can choose something she really wants.

We don't live in Scotland so have no good ideas. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

There are plenty of independent eateries around Byres Road. I'd pick one and see if they do vouchers.

Which part of Glasgow?
Billingtons deli in Lenzie delivers locally and might be worth a look?

Eusabi Deli in the west end for vouchers and hampers. Food is insanely good.

Cafe Strange Brew is brilliant for a fancy brunch!

Shit, sorry! Just read properly!

Starter Culture on Kilmarnock Rd in Shawlands has lots of fancy cheeses, cured meats, pies, single malts and wines, you could order a hamper or get vouchers?

If you wanted a gift rather than food and drink (and depending on your budget) Paulin watches are a local Glasgow firm that do some lovely things, mostly watches but a few other bits too.

I have no association with them, but did get my DS a lovely watch for his birthday there after I saw a colleague wearing one.

Thank you all for these. I'll do some research. They all look like they'd be up her street. She love Cellino's but she got vouchers for that for Christmas!

@seethecolours Marchtown is the winner! Just had a chat with them and ordered a gift card. She will be happy as she's now isolating... Hopefully some good wine will ease the pain a bit!

Thanks all, looks like I need to book a weekend in Glasgow to sample all these...
