Attainment data in schools

It looks awful. Attainment down plus the attainment gap widened.

It isnt good, but considering the context and the amount of school missed over the last 18 months I'm actually surprised they were not, as a whole, even further behind last year. Hopefully with less closures this academic year teachers and parents manage to start to turn it around.

I find that hard to believe, I would have that they were much further behind than that. Although when you take out all the fun stuff, maybe they have had more time to focus on the basics.
