Booster appointments

I booked my booster a few weeks ago, it’s scheduled for 19/12. I had my flu vaccine around 6 weeks ago and was eligible as an NHS worker (not frontline).
NHS Inform now says the following ‘If you’ve already received your flu vaccination through the NHS and are now eligible to book your coronavirus booster, do not book an appointment online. Please phone the national vaccination helpline on 0800 030 8013 to book your booster vaccination.’
Does anyone know what this means? When I booked, this message wasn’t there and I booked online.

Who knows?!
Maybe because they are giving flu vaccine and boosters at the same time to those eligible.

I did wonder if it might be something like that, it does seem weird. My dh is booked for the same day and time but isn’t eligible for the ‘flu vax as he is under 50 so I doubt they will turn me away!

I was offered both boosters today. I declined the flue one as I had mine privately at boots.

oh crickey! I've had my flu jab weeks ago too (eligible for one on NHS but had it done at the chemist) and booked my Covid booster online. I'm just going to go and play dumb! The system should show that I've already had my flu one.

I’m just going to play dumb too! I would phone the helpline but the wait will be torturous. I’m off work today but I will ask around at work tomorrow, as someone there might know what’s what.

You've got an appt, just go to it. Don't try to change anything, that's bound to cause trouble!

I had my covid booster on Saturday. They asked if I had/wanted flu too. I'd already had flu jab 2 weeks ago so just got the covid booster.
