High School's with ASN support

Currently live in west Dunbartonshire and the availability for high schools with decent support for ASN is a nightmare. There’s one about 20 minutes way but like gold dust to get into. Would seriously consider moving anywhere within Scotland currently to help our DD get the best education. Any recommendations for a good one?

I think it’s the same all over, unfortunately. Lots of children with ASN just put into high schools in my area (Edinburgh) with limited support. I wish you luck.

Thanks @LoopyGremlin it’s so difficult to try and find any information

No direct experience but friend of DD had great outcome from the ASN unit at Larkhall Academy. She is now in the second year of an arty HND and has a wee craft sideline. She did some subjects (maths and english etc) within the unit and other subjects with the mainstream kids. They were also good at arranging work experience for the kids in the unit (her friend got a full time job from her work experience). Might be worth looking at what they offer.

Lanark grammar has an ASN department.

Are you saying anywhere like you are prepared to move ? st modans in Stirling has a great ASD department I know a few people who have sent kids there. It's an RC school but kids can withdraw from worship if that's your preference.

@Mrsjayy yes in all honesty if the school was right we would move area. I’ll look at this one thank you
