the bagel place was open when we passed about a month ago. There was something else that made my sister and I turn around to smell even though we'd previously been in deep conversation Smile

I
Whats at york place tram stop

ssd · 09/12/2021 12:59

On tram now

titsintiers · 09/12/2021 13:04

Nothing really. You'd be better to get off at St Andrew's square which is the stop before

ssd · 09/12/2021 13:05

Is that near John Lewis

ElephantOfRisk · 09/12/2021 13:07

york place is only handy if you want the top of Leith or in the east side door of St James centre. That would take you handy for the eating outlet carts. Otherwise, yes, get of in St Andrews square or stop in the middle of Princes street if you want that bit.

Either are near the centre for John Lewis. From St andrews square stop, cross the road and go along Multrees (walk?) and it will lead you to the west door. York Place is round the corner and effectively to the North of St James Centre so you'd walk down towards the east and then turn right past the cathedral and up the side where the vans are and into the East facing door of the centre.

Thanks

ecceromani · 09/12/2021 13:18

If you're going to Christmas markets @ssd you'd be better getting off in Princes st

ElephantOfRisk · 09/12/2021 13:23

Yep, to be honest, none of it is really far from each other, it's just a case of deciding where you want to start. Hope you have a lovely time.

Did you enjoy Edinburgh @ssd ?

I'm so excited for tomorrow. My nails are done, need to sort my eyebrows & tan later once kids are in bed and pack my bag.

titsintiers · 09/12/2021 18:26

I went to dishoom today @shouldistop for the first time. Loved it.

shouldistop · 09/12/2021 19:21

@titsintiers that's good, it was recommended to us by an Indian woman who is a very good cook so knew it would be good!

ssd · 09/12/2021 21:12

Had a lovely day, walked for ages, got lost twice, found mimi's , which was nice but they had no toilets Shock....found grassmarket, which wasn't where i was thinking about but still great, had hot mulled wine and a very lukewarm bratwurst in the xmas market.

Really impressed with the tram!!

ssd · 09/12/2021 21:13

ecceromani · 09/12/2021 21:35
