Someone once linked me to a website where it dumps you into the map at some random place and you need to guess where you are by clicking on the map. It was really fun but I can't remember what it's called anymore 😞

ha ha ha. It was really good fun as you were on a timer for points and so you'd be racing about trying to find road signs or anything that might even give an idea of which country you were in. I'll need to try to find it again.

Finished work for the week. I am exhausted today. Dh's call out phone woke me up at 6am.

The map game is Geoguessr. Kept ds busy for most of lockdown when he should have been doing his schoolwork.

Dh is away in his office today which means I can have the heating on all day. I'm going for a meal with friends tonight then I'm avoiding indoor things till Christmas. So I'll be eating and drinking plenty tonight

I'm taking the children to a home ed hall meeting today. 4 hours of crafts and games and children being noisy. I didn't get to sleep till after 3 and saw pretty much every hour last night so today's going to be marvellous.

@Rae36 I’m doing the same with indoor things except with DP and DCs. Not risking self isolating. Though acquaintances were a bit nippy with me for cancelling a meal out a week on 17th, but too close to Christmas. I hope you have a lovely time tonight.

I have salt and pepper but as kids we had it with tinned spaghetti or hoops.

DH has sugar and took the boys to the dark side with him.

Ahh ketchup - my dd came home from school one day a few years back and said she'd had burger and chips for lunch, but no ketchup, as that's unhealthy

Oh I love French toast. Must be white bread though. HP at home, though bacon and maple syrup if out for brunch.

I too want French roast now. Altogether more healthy soup awaits me which isn't a bad think given our heating appears not to be working.

Well I'm being super healthy today. I just had a delivery from Iceland so I've popped some greggs sausage rolls in the oven for lunch.

Going out tonight into the weedge for a team meal out tonight too.

I have a lunch at a posh restaurant tomorrow with 9 of the ladies I do a Pilates with. It will be the first time we've seen each other in person since March 2020 ! Although we've been having a virtual coffee every week over Zoom after our Zoom Pilates class

Everyone except me will be taking lateral flow tests before coming: I can't because I had Covid at the beginning of November.

I was trying to be healthy but went to DP’s house to do my work and he made me a roll with fiat sausage and I could not resist. Brown sauce on that too, of course.

I really can't be bothered with all the trains and hassle and it's cold, dark, wet etc.

But I haven't seen one colleague since summer 2018, and others since March 2020. The host is my ex boss who I haven't seen since summer 2019. That part I am looking forward to.

French toast almost any which way is good with me... except the ketchup which I've never liked... spicy mayo on the other hand 😋... when I was wee my dad used to make cheese sandwiches, dip them in egg and fry them which were a firm favourite...
