I'm English, in England and I should be cooking tea. Instead I'm scoffing Tunnocks teacakes. Mmm, they melt in the mouth. Too good. So from across the border, thank you Scotland. (My family might have a different sentiment. 😆 )

I love a tunnocks tea cake! Always remind me of sunday afternoons at my gran's house - she always had a good stock of them, and caramel wafers and logs. My husband loves them even more than me - hes absolutely addicted to tea cakes!

Ooo, I remember those wafers. Used to have them a lot when we were younger but not had them for ages. Not seen dark chocolate ones. Oh lord, I might never cook again! Hehe.

I must admit I could live on a hearty Scottish diet of porridge, haggis, tattie scones and tunnocks tea cakes all washed down with Irn-bru Xtra... Not sure how long is survive but I'd give it a go 🤣

Can't possibly (or indeed want to) imagine that.

I know I might be in a minority here but Tunnock's Caramel Log (sounds bad when you think about it) for me. But for my expat Dsis it's Teacakes she craves.

They're good, but I rarely buy them as no sweet tooth.

Now caramel logs are all that I can think about now, and I’m not one for biscuits or cakes. They are very good.

I love Tunnocks snowballs but never see them anywhere. Probably just as well as
If I buy tea cakes I can't resist them and could easily eat a whole box to myself.

Dark chocolate wafers are a recent discovery - they're very good. Just the thing with a cup of tea.

I may be a heretic but i dont like the biscuit base in the tea cakes much, it tastes a bit "foosty" to me... Caramel logs are the top tunnocks for me or a snowball... Local Italian cafe does a dessert featuring icecream and a snowball and sauce....

I want all of them now, except the haggis. Love a caramel log and a tea cake. And tablet. And macaroni pie. And white pudding. Scottish treats are the best.

Confessed to DH greatest that I actually don't know what irnbru tastes like . I think I had it once but I suspect I'm mixing it up with liucozade. Isn't that reason to be banned from coming home?

Ooo, lots of goodies for me to try here. But, and I don't want to offend anyone, I'm going to give the haggis a miss. I could be tempted to give haggis crisps a go (very happy about no haggis cruelty). I won't be washing it down with irn-bru either - not my favourite, I'm afraid. But I'm down with all those Tunnocks things though. I'm a Tunnocks convert. 😋
