Pathetic attempt to gain some support

Go back to October 2020. When there was 0 Covid-19 vaccines. 1000 Scottish ppl from Aberdeen/Glasgow signed up to take part in vaccine trials.

Due to this the Scottish govt have refused to fully register us despite everyone in the trial being fully vaccinated. We are now on interim letter 2, which isn't the same as those with NHS vaccines. We have 1 copy that if it gets lost , torn damaged We have a 2 week wait, with with 0 certification meantime. If we forget the letter we can't look up the letter on a friend/family phone/tablet.
ScotGov will not give a straight answer on fixing this, it's been 5 months already.

The get out of self-isolation early rules if you've had 2 vaccines don't apply to us according to ScotGov.

There is also travel issues, so the UK govt have arranged for those in England /Wales to speak to a Dr before they decide if they want 2 Pfizer doses, there are no studies with 2 full doses of different type of vaccine. They go to the vaccine clinics with set appts and monitoring.

ScotGov refuse to do this for us. We have to decide with 0 medical advice and arrange our own appointments.

I and many others have contacted everyone from the bottom to the top of ScotGov, on top of formal complaints, FOI's and the Ombundsman. Its been published in local/national papers.

Msm won't publish. Believe me I did a BBC interview with another person. They cut everything about ScotGov out, even though we have proof of what we say.

It's soul destroying some days. We took a risk to help others, and others were supportive of us then.
Now ppl have had their NHS vaccines we are forgotten about.

We don't want publicity, we just want the promises our initial consent forms were based on.

This only happened in Scotland. Had I took part in England I wouldn't have had any of the stress.
The last 5 months of trying to deal with ScotGov have negatively affected my health.

So if you ever have a spare moment please give the 1000 of us a thought as we fight to have equal rights to those with NHS vaccines

My guess is that because this initial trial was so small there just isn't the scientific evidence available to give you any definitive status. I don't know the details of the trial but I would guess that the substance you were given wasn't exactly the same as what later went into production for the larger scale trials and eventual licenced vaccine so it is impossible to certify you as vaccinated in the same way as those who had the officially licenced version.

The science to establish whether it's safe for you to be re-vaccinated cannot be done because the numbers involved are too small. All the cohort of 1000 initial volunteers woukd need to be signed up as volunteers to trial whether or not it was safe, so by the time there was an answer, the only beneficiaries would be the members of the placebo group on the trial.

I think if I were you I would be getting fresh vaccines that are the fully licensed version and will be registered by the technology. Vaccine effectiveness seems to start wearing off after as little as 3 months so you probably don't have a vast amount of protection at the moment anyway.

I was only mentioning Scottish numbers as its ScotNet. The trial was large, UK/,US trial.
There was 15000 UK volunteers in UK.
29 600 IN US. Biggest ever UK trial. Plus trials in other places.
Only Scottish volunteers face issues.
Scot govt have lied to us repeatedly since May
The vaccine will finally be approved in 3/4 weeks. Its as good as Pfizer.

Efficacy was proven in May, the delay was manufacturing. The UK govt said volunteers have done enough let's do everything to prevent them being disadvantaged.
ScotGov did the opposite.

By refusing to register us fully ScotGov break the promises we signed consent form on.
No NHS Inform /app. They can jog on with 10 day isolation, I'm not following that.

I'm not keen on 2 vaccines because of a politician. Where there's no clinical need, and risks outweigh benefits.

I'm sure on Monday if everyone with NHS vaccines were told their vaccine wasn't accepted. And to just show up and get 2 more. With no Dr advice or safety data. Because a pitician said so.
Ppl would object.

We got screwed over. Ppl don't even know
( generally) the amount of medical testing we get done over a 12 month period for 0.

Also we get regular antibody tests. We have proven immunity. Given I'm at 12 months very soon. My antibodies are still amazing.
There are ppl who get vaccines whose bodies barely react sadly.
I know I'm fully vaccinated as I've had 2 vaccines and my antibodies show it.

Can you not just take a picture of your letter and then you can easily show the barcode when needed?

No a photographh invalidates the letter.
I've now contacted 52 individual ppl.
Had replies from about 9.
3 offered help.
ScotGov have had 5 months to slter a database. They've done 0.
They then lie and say they're arranged things like NHS england. They've failed.

Of course noone from the govt will talk directly to us.

No the campaign came to 0.
Once everyone and their granny got vaccinated they don't care any longer.

No more trials from ppl in this trial.others that have never contributed will have to step up.

The only real way ppl can help is to keep it active on SM. I'd say email your MSP, IF they are SNP it's useless.

SCotGov have a say in police dealings.
Last week an attorney working legally in Edinburgh courthouse was removed by the police.
Covid Recovery money was spent on Indy mandate
WM are now bypassing govt to give money direct to sources.
Police are investigating missing money.
NHS is destroyed.

Yet ppl give them votes. Thankfully my area keep them out, and NS/Snp can't stand it.

I've noticed a lot of "these islands" references also.

NS made the front cover of British Vogue, they're obviously OK with putting racists on their cover.

They rejected a petition today for stricter punishment on those who attack front line workers, and full life sentences for the most serious offences.
What is wrong with them?
