Can someone help RE travel to Spain and back?

I want to make sure I'm doing everything right and find the information online quite unclear.

I have completed a passenger locator form for Spain and received a QR code to present at the airport. Do I need to do this again coming back and if so, does anyone have the link?

Is it true that I also need to book a test coming back? That is what a colleague told me last week but I keep being directed to gov.uk links that say this is for England - nothing about Scotland. Would appreciate any help, thanks!

www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-international-travel-quarantine/pages/red-amber-and-green-list-countries/

This says you need a day 2 PCR test when returning from a non red country

That page also links to the passenger locator form

I went to Spain last week and leaving Edinburgh I needed my vaccine passport and the SpTH QR code. Returning I needed Vaccine passport, passenger locator with its QR code (so basically proof that I had a PCR booked for day 2) email.

Wasn't that bad and I am rubbish at forms.

I've just been reading about it.

All the info is here www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-international-travel-quarantine/pages/red-amber-and-green-list-countries/

If you're fully vaccinated you'll need the passenger locator form and also a test ordered ready to do on Day 2. The Scottish Gov website says you can pay £68 for a PCR test but then it also says you can buy from a list of private providers in England. There seems to be a lot so I'd probably Google them and see what the reviews say and go for one of them. They're a lot cheaper than £68 so not so who is ever going to chose that option, unless I'm missing something?

I used Randox for the Day 2 test. Seemed very organised, you should be able to get a discount code so it will be £43 per person. As we're in Scotland you still currently need to order a PCR test on return.

I used Excalibur £55 for test but DPD courier out and in brought it to £64. Very straightforward and results following day .

Thanks everyone. All worked out. And I only needed to book a lateral flow test coming back as the rules changed last Friday!
