NHS Scotland Covid vaccine status app

Any sign of this yet? It's supposed to be available from today. Doesn't seem to be on the Play store yet.

Apparently supposed to be available from www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/infections-and-poisoning/coronavirus-covid-19/test-and-protect/nhs-24-coronavirus-covid-19-app but needless to say the site has crashed!

The vaccine passport is still on, but businesses have a bit of leeway around enforcement for a couple of weeks.
I haven't tried to get the app, but have downloaded the PDF of my certificate from the website.

Trying to get it for imminent travel as it should be easier than carrying bits of paper around.

Just attempted to download and sign up for the covid status app. What a bloody faff. The end result...no match found.

I think that seems to be the experience of many. I'm holding off for a while to see if it gets fixed. AFAIK the pdf downloaded codes are acceptable too.

I tried yesterday evening and got no match found. Thought I'd try again just now and it logged me straight in. Seems all the earlier info actually stored and its working fine now

Though it's not actually recognising my details...Hmm

I don't really watch TV or buy a newspaper or visit the scotgov website on a regular basis, but I am reasonably active on social media and listen to the radio. I've only heard talk of the passport coming in today and no info on what the app looks like and what I'd need to work it.

Has that all been publicised?

Seems like there is a deliberate barrier to stop folk actually getting it and going out.

I managed to download and get it to work this morning but DH had no luck - doesn't support the browser on his phone. Also doesn't seem to be accessible via the Android play store - had to use the link from the BBC.

I get 'no match found' after putting in my CHI number. It pulled up my date of birth etc, so obviously it did find me. Will try again this afternoon.

Ten minutes of my life I’m not getting back. Couldn’t find it on the App Store, had to go through nhs inform. Then it seemed to crash.

I think it might get your details from the ID. It knew my dob, name etc without the CHI.

DH, DD and I have all failed to get a match last night and this morning. DS2 announces at breakfast he has his. When I ask to see he takes a tenner from his wallet puts it on the screen if his phone and says this is all you need to get past the bouncers (says its a Weegie Vaccine passport).
