Anyone taken their 12-15yo to a drop in clinic?

There's one on near us tomorrow which DS is happy to go to but would need to talk him through it and wasn't sure if an adult is allowed to go in with them/what level of information they look for...

I'm sure they encourage a parent to go with them. I went with my dd (17) when she got hers.
They will probably go through possible side effects and ask whether they are giving their own consent

Yes, I took my 13 year old this week. I went in with her and they asked her all the same questions they asked me. You can stay with them, there were lots of parents with teenagers.

I was thinking about taking DC this weekend, but they are about to get their flu jabs - am wondering whether to get this over before getting Covid jab too.

There were no teens without an adult with them when I went, actually that's not quite true there were over 16s on their own. They seems to get seen quicker - I think the people dealing with the younger ones did more explaining than I remember from my own vaccination.

We've been. They vaccinator was very good at talking to teen is age appropriate way. All the teens had an adult with them.

Yes, DH took DS earlier today.The vaccinator mostly talked to DS and explained him about the side effects, asked questions etc
