MOT garage Aberdeen

Any Aberdeen locals recommend a garage (Berryden area if possible) for an MOT? We have our own favourite local garage but doesn't look like DS will be home before the MOT is due. Will probably get it serviced next time he is back.

Not Berryden, but the Albyn Garage on Albyn Lane is really trustworthy in my experience (tried loads of garages across the city)

Thanks so much, it's great when you find a good local garage - that's what we have at home and it's not the closest to us but we have two cars and can usually juggle a drop off and pick up.

This is for student DS so I was ideally hoping to find something he can walk to and from but personal recommendation is worth a lot. I see that Albyn has great reviews on-line too.

One I've spotted with also great reviews and pretty nearby to DS is the Unicar auto centre on elmfield place - have you any experience of that at all?

Would 100% recommend Coopers Garage on Fraser Road, just off Hutcheon St. Handy enough for Berryden.

Alan J Ross, Ashley Park Lane. Not at Berryden, but about 2 miles away. We've been using them for about 15 years for company cars, and at least two of us have our own cars serviced there. Great service, really good at offering advice

Thanks, another contender! Great reviews and 10 minute walk from his flat. I just don't want someone to try to rip him off as he's just a young lad and there should be no reason that the car needs anything. It has only done a few thousand miles since it's last service and MOT and I changed the wipers myself when he was home a few months ago.

I second Alan J Ross - used them for years, had great service and found them to be v trustworthy.

Haven't used unicar myself but I know others who have - so I'd just say I haven't heard anything bad! I would agree with the other poster that Cooper's on Fraser road is also a good shout.
