September weekend - hotel suggestions?

We're thinking that it would be nice to get a short hotel break in for September weekend, ideally with a pool. One teen DC. Anywhere outside the central belt really, but not Peebles Hydro. Anyone got any suggestions?

Crieff Hydro? Atholl Palace in Pitlochry?

Apex in Dundee has good sized family rooms and a nice pool area. Central for exploring all the city has to offer and Dundee is a great city for teens.

Depends what teen would be into, but there is also the McDonalds hotel at Cardrona? Nice walks/mountain biking etc. They also have hotels in Aviemore

The isles of glencoe? Or the Auchrannie on Arran? The Atholl Palace in Pitlochry? Not stayed in any of these for a few years but you could check recent reviews.

@WhatWouldTheDoctorDo What September weekend? Is that the bank holiday that Glasgow gets?

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I'll look those up. Not sure if it's the same dates in Glasgow @LizzieMacQueen , but it's a long weekend in September for us with schools closed on the Monday.

Apex city in Edinburgh is nice and plenty to do x
