Has anyone joined/applied to join?

I’ve just had a look at it as I really like the hotel but now feeling ancient as it’s double the price over 33 and you need to send a photograph.

Feel like I’d be mortified to be rejected. Keen to here any other views as I can’t find much online?

Another thread humblebragging and mentioning age related increases?
Odd.

Don’t see why they would reject you they want your money after all. Seems like a v expensive way to access a gym. Everything else you have to pay for what you use other than sit in the ‘snug’

@FelicityPike actually it was the other thread that reminded me. These places aren’t commonplace in Scotland the way they are in London so I just wondered what people on scotsnet might think. I found the age thing really odd. Hardly a humble brag.

What is it? Is it a similar idea to the Soho House model?

Maybe trying to attract the younger crowd

Private members club, I’ve never actually been in one so not sure if it’s similar. Gleneagles style is all quite classic and Art Deco, doesn’t look super trendy from the pictures. It’s not actually open yet which is part of my reason for asking as I don’t know anyone to ask. I was only interested as I’ll be working from home pretty much permanently so thought I could use some of the working spaces as a change of scenery and maybe gym while I’m there.
