It's official. I have melted

I'm actually now so relieved I cancelled Majorca holiday in August, if I can't cope with Scotland in 23 degrees how on earth would I have managed with 40 degrees?

@SuperLoudPoppingAction Lunan bay is a gorgeous beach. As is kinnaber and Montrose really. We are so lucky to have such nice beaches and really not crowded ever.

DH was talking about going in the water but I think me and DS will stick to the splash zone park!

I've been sat inside my living room with the curtains closed almost all day.

It's an atrocity this heat. I have hayfever too and it's like having hot ash constantly thrown at your bloody face.

I honestly want to rip my own skin off just to get a bit of relief. I've had cold showers all day & a fan working overtime to try and cool down my humongous arse.

Are you me?!? I am like this at the moment. I have had to get prescription from GP for my hay fever it's been horrendous this year. All this year is not helping. Bring on gale force winds and rain please.

Poor ds had his 2nd vaccination on Wednesday and one of the side effects for him, as well as a sore arm, is a fever

Telling him that Aberdeen had been the hottest place in Scotland yesterday wasn't as reassuring as I thought it would be

Absolutely loving it. The only issue was during camping this week our tent had no shade so was like an oven by 7am. Noted to try for a morning shaded pitch in future. Due to be very hot again today but currently a keen wind so might have to avoid the beach.

I've actually had to send DH out to pick up an air purifier from Argos. If I didn't know it was hayfever I'd think I had covid! Splitting headache, sneezing constantly and my face is on fire!!

Aberdeen is where I am and my mum has a thermometer in her garden - it got up to 34c 😳😳😳

Oh it's gonny be a scorcher today. I've lived in this house for 5 years and sitting out in the garden eating my breakfast which is a first in this house! I'm wearing shorts and a vest and it's warm enough just now and that's in the shade!

Have a long tepid shower...makes you cold for ages!

Our shower is jammed on scalding hot 🥵

Yep, went again today and literally 20 folk on the beach and it's a huge beach

Can confirm the air purifier works actual magic for hayfever though. Expensive at £280 but honestly so worth it. So nice to have a room in the house free from pollen to just get a break!

It’s 28 degrees in my house despite the fact that every single window is open.
According to Alexa it’s only 24 degrees here.
