Anyone stayed at the holiday park? Can you recommend any nice restaurants in the surrounding area? 😊 maybe up to half hour drive away.

I stayed there in October 2019 and we ate in the onsite restaurant a few nights and the food was lovely. We went to the pub just outside the park, think it's called Paul Jones but I didn't rate it to be honest. It is quite remote there but it is a lovely part of the world.
If you get the chance I highly recommend the CocoaBean factory , great setup, outdoor play area was great and the food in their cafe was lovely.

The Steamboat at Carsethorn is nice and not far at all.

@Ladylunchalot I’ve heard good things about the restaurant but they're operating first come first served due to covid and we’re there over the weekend so I imagine it’ll be very busy. So just hoping for some other recommendations incase it is too busy 😊

@LoopyGremlin Thanks!! Will have a look at that one 😊

I've been there a few times and always found the food at the Paul Jones good. The Steamboat is nice too (but not as handy).
Id say the on-site restaurant is simply ok. The chip shop is fine too.
Lovely place. Have a nice time. Smile
