Has anybody been there recently and can tell me if anything is open for food/drink and how busy it is atm?

Also can anybody confirm that I definitely do not need to have got a negative Covid test result before flying there from London? I’m pretty sure I don’t but confirmation would be great Grin

I travelled to Bristol about a month ago and there was only one (takeaway) coffee place open and only two shops (Boots & WH Smith). My flight was the only one on the departure board and the whole place was eerily quite. Things have opened up a bit since then and there might be a few more flights but I wouldn't imagine it's an awful lot different.

Also, I didn't need to do a covid test for flying from Edinburgh to Bristol so I would imagine the same will apply to you

It's pretty dead from what I can tell from the outside and surrounding area. The website is up to date info on what shops etc are open. www.edinburghairport.com/shopping-and-eating/restaurants
I believe you don't need covid tests for domestic flights.

I flew in April and hardly anything was open. Might be different now.

DH was there last week. Same really -- it's eerily quiet and not much is open. He said it was just Costa and Smiths although I'd imagine Boots is open too as PP say.

He didn't need to take or produce a negative test, or prove vaccination status or anything. He was flying Edinburgh --> Heathrow and back again.

Heathrow was a good deal busier, apparently.

Oh and they've shut all the lounges
