Remember when it was reported that Edward was moving to Scotland in a bid to save the union? It's now being reported that Kate's tartan fashion choices are to be interpreted as simple.

Is it just me or is this bizarre? Would this really influence people?

Not unusual for the royal family to wear tartan either it's just usually on their balmoral estate in their August holiday!

As for Gordon Brown (who I know), he does a lot of work regarding economic recovery and poverty and I'm pretty sure there would be a non-union reason for them meeting.

yeah hard to get excited about this, Kate M always wears stuff that reflects the place she's visiting. I'm sure at some point the daily mail must've published one story that wasn't made up nonsense at best, but I struggle to think of one.
