Bruntsfield primary in Edinburgh

Hi. We’re moving to the catchment for Bruntsfield primary and wondering if anyone has any feedback on it? The inspection report sounds decent but hard right get a feel for what it would be like, how friendly/welcoming it is, academics etc. And if there’s much opportunity for sports?

Also, anyone got first (or second or third!) hand knowledge of how it would compare with George Watsons? I know boroughmuir has a great rep for secondary and we’d be in the catchment for that.

Thanks!

Don't have personal experience but live close enough and know enough people to say you have nothing to be concerned about. Great reputation and active parent body.

Not in the bruntsfield catchment, but DC at Boroughmuir - have never heard anything concerning about Bruntsfield, generally considered a desirable catchment.

Bruntsfield is considered to be a good primary. The main issue is getting parking for drop off if you don't live local enough to walk.

Thanks for your comments. All very reassuring.
