We're going through Jura on Friday

Have to take an lft of course but if it's negative then we're off to Jura on Friday night, getting ferry from Tayvallich. And as long as there's no new lockdown.

What advice do people have please? Dp and friends like idea of paps of Jura but I've been ill (I used to love stuff like that but not sure if I can do them all.)

What else can we do? At the moment I like the idea of just walking round being outside and away from traffic of city.

Also what should we take with us other than warm clothes and waterproofs? We were thinking we might get a ferry to Colonsay one day and to Islay.

I'm irrationality worried locals will hate us for coming from Edinburgh in a pandemic, although if course we will only go if we all test negative.

We cycled the length of the island, stopped off at the gorgeous beaches and on the way back stopped in at the distillery and the Jura hotel for a lovely lunch.

Also, there is WAY more to do on Islay and you will probably want more than a day there if you can manage it.
