I was wondering what the general thoughts of the Scotnet users are on the events today?

Polling continually shows that Scotland has views on immigration entirely in line with the rest of the U.K. The SNP know this fine well, which is why their last independence paper emphasised a points based immigration system, and their current objections are about the tactics and timing, rather than general opposition to removal.

The “no one is illegal” crowd are completely fringe.

They bang on about wanting immigrants because our population is falling. But it wouldn't be falling fi there were jobs for Scottish school leavers and uni leavers. It's just crazy to say yes to immigrants who will then move to England or Wales for work as there is none here.
