Yes

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 30/03/2021 20:46

I am. Who is standing for the greens? I thought it would be Patrick harvie

AnnieHooo · 30/03/2021 20:48

Lorna Slater Co-leader of Scottish Green Party.

I am, I'm behind though, about 10/15 mins.

Questions are not great IMO - of all the leaders I'm more impressed by is Anas Sarwar. They're all spouting soundbites but he's sounding the most sincere of them all.

AnnieHooo · 30/03/2021 20:51

I'm impressed with Anas so far.

Thanks @AnnieHooo I have never seen her in parliament so was confused.

Yes I think he has done really well tonight

AnnieHooo · 30/03/2021 20:59

I've never seen Lorna Slater before this week.

@AnnieHooo

I've never seen Lorna Slater before this week.
She's coming across well too.
IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 30/03/2021 21:02

I thought she was drastic. Felt she didn't show leadership just we will support this and that.

The independent rant from the audience member was a bit strange. Stand out was Anas I think.

StarryEyeSurprise · 30/03/2021 21:03

Anas telling DR to grow up and that he's shameful with his constant ' divisive' rubbish. Thank goodness someone's calling it as it is.

ParkheadParadise · 30/03/2021 21:06

I was impressed with Anas tonight.
DR is an arsehole.

RonSwan · 30/03/2021 21:11

Not really much of a debate. Some very good questions from the audience but with 5 participants you just scratch the surface and there was a lot of answering the question they wanted to answer rather than the question asked.

Nobody had to answer the question on how all those promises were going to be paid for. I’d love to have heard the answers to that.

forfucksakenett · 30/03/2021 21:18

Tory meltdown on Twitter because anas has dared challenge DR. Good for him, that's what Scottish Labour need!

RonSwan · 30/03/2021 21:21

Thought Nicola came over very poorly.

He kept saying," Oh dear, Oh dear," whenever Ross was talking. Beggars belief that so many will vote for him.
blowinahoolie · 30/03/2021 21:28

Lorna was brilliant tonight. Definitely considering voting Greens. Nicola was quick to put Moray Ross back in his place as well 😂

@StarryEyeSurprise

At least no one called him Murray Ross. 😂 I'd almost feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a hateful, xenophobic prick.
🤣 he is enough to put anyone off voting Tory.
blowinahoolie · 30/03/2021 21:35

Moray/Murray Ross 🙊

Didn't rate the Green lady but better than her counterpart would ave been. Nicola was quiet and seemed distracted. The labour guy was ok but overall a poor show from them all.

Blurberoo · 30/03/2021 21:49

Wonder if the Greens are realising that Harvie is losing them votes

I think so too. She was on the back foot & it was very much down to 'you've been in government for 14 yrs' challenge that they were all throwing at her.

I wasn't impressed with her response on abuse - someone really should have challenged her on claiming she 'always calls it out' given she's said not one word about the SNP member who has plead guilty over abuse of Joanna Cherry.
