I think the argument is that Murray was warned and carried on regardless - whereas Garavelli clearly hasn't been and so is untouched despite her blatant jigsawing.

WaxOnFeckOff · 22/03/2021 09:18

Not good for Craig Murray.

Hamilton report is apparently out today. It will be given to Scotgov for "checking and redacting" but she did commit to release it the same day it was received so we will see.

It will be "people, including NS, could have done better", but will stop short of saying a resignable breach has taken place. That's what I think anyway. I'm hoping not obviously.

I would say on a lighter note, except ...

Kevin McKenna reflecting on Nicola Sturgeon in 2026.

littlbrowndog · 22/03/2021 10:24

That is so funny 😆

Blurberoo · 22/03/2021 10:25

‘The re-training camps, which we sub-contracted to the Hunter Foundation, have also been a huge success. We fast-tracked their planning applications for leadership centres on many of our major lochs so that poor families could enjoy a two-week break in remote rural settings while learning citizenship classes from the Little Red Book of Kindness.’ Grin Sad

Salmond planning a statement: archive.is/WGmzA

52andblue · 22/03/2021 11:19

@SempreSuiGeneris Grin

@ATieLikeRichardGere - Salmond won't 'go quietly' - there's nothing like a middle aged man who thinks he's a victim! (meanwhile NS thinks she's the victim, and the real female complainant victims and the scottish public get shafted)

littlbrowndog · 22/03/2021 11:33

Chalking a possible crime now

No crime established but honestly, is this what we've come to?

WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 11:45

Interesting.. Kirsten Oswald pulled from Sky tv at short notice...

It’s really scaring me how quickly it’s become criminal to dissent in Scotland.

@WouldBeGood all hands on deck? This might mean Hamilton inquiry has teeth?

Maybe she's not memorised all her lines properly?

I wonder what's behind this.

Blurberoo · 22/03/2021 12:09

No Covid briefing today either... ooh

ATieLikeRichardGere · 22/03/2021 12:18

I’m feeling genuinely nervous about all this.

WaxOnFeckOff · 22/03/2021 12:21
Blurberoo · 22/03/2021 12:29

They’ll be furiously redacting almost everything just now I should think

OP posts:
WaxOnFeckOff · 22/03/2021 12:37

It'll be redacted to fuck. I think we might not see it today as it will depend on when they get it and work out their strategy and can always say that they couldn't publish today as had to redact to protect the women....

Then it will be "it's within 24 hours" and she never said we'd get it same day...

At this point I'm expecting redactions of every sentence containing a name or job title. Maybe every paragraph actually, just to be safe

It might end up completely nonsensical tbh and we'll be no wiser.

WaxOnFeckOff · 22/03/2021 12:44

I think now that the criminal trial is over, the names, with the exception of the person involved in the "not proven" verdict, should be released,

Blurberoo · 22/03/2021 12:51

@WouldBeGood absolutely they should, but they won’t be. Unless Nicola goes.

^Scottish Govt not confirming receipt of the Hamilton report but my understanding is current plan is to publish late afternoon. People whose evidence is used have been notified and asked to come back with any objections to use of their data by early afternoon
@skynews^

Stand by!

WaxOnFeckOff · 22/03/2021 12:58

Saw this reply on twitter:

Scotgov get it first so probably:'
Hamilton report
I have found that [redacted]
Signed
James Hamilton

I'd laugh more if I thought it wasn't true
