Hi,
I'm at the stage of deciding which school to send my son too. He's in private daycare just now. So I have a choice between his catchment school, the local RC Primary, and the GME Primary in Leith.

If I add in private options, I'm also interested in considering the Edinburgh Montessori Arts School, the Steiner school (though it doesn't seem to attract much positive feedback here), and perhaps one of the prep schools (Clifton Hall, Cargilfield). I know these are all quite scattered, but as we're planning to move house in the next year, that's not so much an issue just now.

Mixed feelings about going private, but open to it. I'm worried about what the level of public debt coming out of Coronavirus is going to do to the funding and quality of state school education.

Any views on any of the above? Thanks...

Hi @Libelula21 wondering what you ended up doing as 2.5 years on from your original post and I’m having same dilemma?
