Any advice would be much appreciated! We are relocating back to the Dundee/St Andrews/Perth area after 16 years in England and would greatly appreciate any recommendations on state schools. My DDs are doing well at their current primary and secondary schools and particularly enjoy taking part in sport clubs etc so really worrying about the impact the move will have on them and praying we find schools they will be happy at. Private school unlikely to be an option however would be good to hear of any positive/negative experiences. Many thanks!

Madras College in St Andrews is very highly thought of. It serves high school for those in north east fife.

In Dundee, Grove Academy or Harris Academy are well regarded

Grove Academy in Broughty Ferry-my 2 attended there, however you MUST live in catchment now as it’s so oversubscribed

Madras is a good school but is currently on a split site. The brand new school will hopefully be open after the summer and it looks fab. I walked past it on Saturday.
