That's why I was wary, can't source it. I thought it had come from something else but no where else has it that I can see.

I wonder why women always got tarred as 'gossips' - Indy zealots are some of the worst gossipers out!

Oh they are super gossipy - I think it's a really small world in reality (not pro indy people but the politicians, civil servants, party staff, bloggers, journalists etc) as they all seem to know each other

Ah, the “French Connection” That rumour’s been around for a while. Can’t see what harm it would do if it ...erm...came out.

Ive heard a rumour about NS and a 'french connection' from a lawyer I know in Edinburgh. I wonder if it's the same one?

An urgent push to redefine transphobia and expel SNP members who won't sign up to it. I'm guessing this is the price the Green's demand for support in the VONC against Sturgeon next week.

Is Harvie a list MSP or did he win his seat? Is he top of the green's list fo may?

I’m confused. When I searched for the bridges for Indy guy I stumbled into a convo about shall we say macbeth. An intriguing one for sure. But the french connection as I know it is something else and I’m not finding that. Unless the two stories connect and I don’t know it.

I think I know what the french thing is in relation to a super injunction. Not sure how it would relate to the Salmond enquiry tho.

The one who has been very quiet in all this is Keith Brown. He is very much keeping his powder dry in case of a leadership battle. Watch out for him replacing Nicola

A lot of the Bridges gossip makes more sense if you watch the Craig Murray video www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2021/03/a-very-tough-video-to-make/ I found it worth watching. He goes into detail on the key players in the conspiracy and their motivations. It makes sense of a lot of the confusing details.
Also anyone confused about the french connection (which has nothing to do with the Salmond affair) it is all over tattle.

I'm not sure the french issue is related - it just tends to pop up on any Sturgeon related twitter conversation of any length.

So let’s imagine that Joanna Cherry doesn’t sign and is expelled from the SNP.

And let’s imagine she’s got all the material Alex Salmond has, because she seems to be a longstanding ally of his.

Wouldn’t kicking her out of the party just make her more inclined to follow in the steps of David Davis and read a few things out in the House of Commons?

They must at least be concerned about JC, as she could be a wildcard. But they've still pushed her aside for Angus Robertson

Without a Holyrood seat she can’t become FM, can she. I think she would have been fantastic. She seems to still be handling the justice brief even since the reshuffle, she was commenting on the proposals to reform Judicial Review and the Police and Protest Bill....

She'd need to be an MSP to be FM yes. But they would be playing a really risky game to force her out right now, I suspect she knows a lot.
