Agree ShadowyFeminist. I often see politicians lauded and accorded additional respect because "they're a lawyer dontcha know." The very real danger is that people defer to them unduly and they don't treat practising professionals with respect. This looks like a classic example of both.
Sturgeon is coming across as somewhat confused about the difference between being a Law Maker and being The Law.
